The Hobbian Way of Life (Otherwise known as the right way)

Ladies and gentlemen, I am sad to say that our journey together is coming to an end. I believe that this is a perfect ending point because I have thouroughly expressed my ideas on human nature, the Sundanse Boys, and our government. Even though I have shared my thoughts with you, it most likley we will not change our human nature and will keep on living life like we do today. We will all still be greedy and selfish, the only thing that is different is that you will now be aware of it. If you still think that humans can be altruistic then you have been seriously mislead at some point during your life, and do not understand what I have been saying. Overall, I hope that you have learned something new about how humans really act, when they are not masking up their true emotions. Thanks for following my blog!

Sincerely,
Thomas Hobbes

  1. Mr. Hobbes, personally, I do not believe your philosophy about human nature, although I do think that you had some excellent points about it. I certainly think that some people in this world are selfish and greedy, but definatley not all of them. For example, I know that you enjoy watching the TV series House, so I would encourage you to watch an episode called "Selfish". It is about a young girl, who lives her life for her brother, who is physically impaired. She does everything her brother wants to do, but can't, like skateboard. As a result of this, she gets very sick and ends up in the hospital. She does not benefit from her actions at the all, she does the opposite. As you can see, not all humans are selfish and greedy, and you can find a little bit of goodness in every person.
